Video meetings with live translation: speak your language, be heard in theirs

Engage Calls is a browser meeting for people who speak different languages. Each sentence is written as it ends, translated into every listener's language and read to them in a steady voice. At the end come minutes in each side's language.

How it works

  1. Book the meeting or start it now. Enter the time in your zone and pick the other side's country and language, so the invitation reaches them in their language with English beside, and they see the time in theirs.
  2. Guests join with a link. They open it on a phone or computer, type a name, allow the microphone, and they are in. No app and no account; only the organizer has one.
  3. Everyone speaks their own language. They read the translation a few seconds after each sentence ends and hear it in a steady voice the speaker chose, with the original voice faint underneath.
  4. Minutes at the end. What was agreed, next steps, open questions and points to double-check, in each side's language, and each person confirms them from their own device.

Languages

Arabic, Chinese, English, Turkish, Korean, Japanese, Hindi, Urdu, Persian, Indonesian, French, Spanish, Russian and others. Each person picks their language when they join and can change it in the meeting. Arabic is written and read in the dialect the listener chooses.

Built for trade

A trader and a supplier, a company and a client abroad. Product names, specs and terms are typed once when booking, so they are heard, translated and written in the minutes exactly as given. Quantities, prices and dates go into a table in the minutes. How to use it with suppliers.

In the meeting

  • Camera, screen sharing from a computer, and backgrounds: blur, Engage or an office.
  • A waiting room: guests wait until you admit them, or you set entry to direct.
  • A random link for each meeting, and a separate organizer link that is never sent to guests.
  • We do not record meetings: no audio or video is kept, only the minutes stay with your account.

Frequently asked questions

Does the other side need an app or an account?

No. They open the invitation link in the browser on a phone or computer, type a name and join. Only the organizer has an account.

Is the translation spoken or written?

Both. It appears in writing a few seconds after each sentence ends, then is read in a steady voice the speaker chose.

Are meetings recorded?

No. Audio passes through for transcription and translation during the meeting and is not kept; the minutes stay with your account.

Can more than two people join?

Yes. On paid plans a team on each side can join, in more than one language. The limits are in the pricing section.

Can I try it for free?

Yes, there is a free translation trial. A plain call with no translation and no notes does not count against your minutes.
